The TSA should be eliminated Now!!

The Transportation Safety Agency should be eliminated effective immediately. Their used security equipment should be given to small city police departments or the airports by a lottery.

Increase the budget of the Air Marshals so that there can be at least one marshal (men and/or women) on every single plane inside the United States! Hire returning military personnel to help stimulate the economy (there will be lots to choose from, because we should immediately stop all foreign military actions and bring the troops home). Have hiring based on merit only and should include preferential treatment for people with medals. Navy seals, Army Rangers, Special Ops, and others like them would automatically be hired after passing psych evaluations. Close Quarter Combat instructors and similar instructors would also rank high on the list after passing psych evaluations.

The dress code would be whatever the individual marshals want it to be. They would be allowed to carry any weapon(s) they see fit to use. All weapons and and ammunition would be provided for free and a membership in fitness clubs would also be included. Yearly or semi-anual tune-up training would be made available for free.

Spouses would be allowed to accompany them at least once per year for free with advanced notice of 48 hours.

Housing would also be made available at 50% of market value from the stock of foreclosed homes owned by Fannie-Mae and Freddie-Mac and any bank or mortgage company that got stimulus money. These companies would have no choice but to participate in this program, because they owe their continued existence to the American taxpayer.

If every terrorist in the world knew that EVERY plane in U.S. airspace had a marshal on board then there would be no problem. If I saw someone trying to take over the plane, and I knew there was a marshal or two on board, then I would stand up and yell at the idiot terrorist until I got the marshal's attention. Then that marshal and I and other like-minded individuals on the plane would proceed to pound that scum-bag into submission.

I would then proceed to collect affidavits from everyone on that airplane stating that they too saw the bozo attempting to take control of the plane. There would be no need for a trial, because over 100 people saw it happen and since enactment of the TSA dismantle legislation would also declare terrorism in the U.S. is a declaration of war against our country, then that person is immediately declared a foreign combatant and will be executed within 6 hours of landing.

The 6 hours will give news crews time to set up their cameras for the execution. No extensions, no mercy, just a good old fashion shooting to keep this kind of idiot from polluting the gene pool. We will use at least 2 automatic weapons and 50 bullets to insure the person is dead. I don't care if they felt some pain just before they died. I also don't care that their family will probably not have time to be notified before the execution. A YouTube video will be created giving the entire story and will be posted every where we can on the internet. This will show the world what we do to terrorists who try and spread their stupid philosophy into our country by force.

The politicians speak about rioting...

According to Telegraph political correspondent James Kirkup, British Prime Minister David Cameron "cast this week's events as a 'deep moral failure': the people responsible have done bad things and should be punished, he said. Not only have the rioters been immoral, he said, in many cases so have their parents… The potential consequences of neglect and immorality on this scale have been clear for too long, without enough action being taken." He promised "a more moral Britain, a country where people behave better."

Here's Cameron in his own words:

We need to show the world, which has looked on, frankly, appalled, that the perpetrators of the violence we have seen on our streets are not in any way representative of our country – nor of our young people.

We need to show them that we will address our broken society, we will restore a... stronger sense of morality and responsibility – in every town, in every street and in every estate.

According to Cameron and many others, a lack of responsibility is to blame.

WOW, did you ever think that maybe they would get something right?

More and more ignorant people ... burning down their own towns

I ran across this quote by DonnaLee Wheeler which pretty well explains what I am seeing in London, England and other places:

Burger King is promoting stealing

I am a tutor at a local community college. Last semester I had a lot of students who were writing papers about the big, bad, fast-food industry and how they are causing the obesity crisis. Let me state for the record that the fast-food industry is not responsible for the obesity crisis. The people who eat too much and exercise too little are responsible for their getting fat!!!!! The fast-food industry is just doing a good job of selling their product.

Now, we have one major player in that industry doing something that I find really morally objectionable!

Burger King, has a commercial for their BK Minis (This is NOT an endorsement, because I have never eaten them) that shows people (colleagues, siblings, and others) deliberately and with foresight, stealing a Mini from someone who bought them. So, now Burger King is advocating breaking one of the 10 commandments just to sell their food??

What kind of example is this for children? I can hear it now: "but mom, I saw the guy on TV steal the BK Mini and they did not get into trouble." Why are you making such a big fuss about this?

Theft (stealing) is never the right thing to do! I am not going to argue here about the right or the wrong in the case of the loaf of bread Jean Valjon stole in Les Miserable, but I am standing up against a multi-national company promoting actions forbidden by Christian, Jewish, Islamic, and many other religions. The fact that they were willing to pay to have this commercial produced and shown on TV makes me wonder how many other of the 10 commandments they are willing to break.

Congress and the Satan Sandwich with Satan Fries

I hope that you too are disgusted with the behavior of congress this week.

The congress and senate did nothing substantial for months, except posturing, when it came to the "debt ceiling crisis". It is not like the end of the fiscal year is a big, unannounced, surprise, nor is the fact that the federal government is spending too much and running up to much debt each year. However, instead of actually doing some real work, and actually cutting spending like any American with half an operating brain has been telling them to do. They did nothing!

Finally, at the last moment, after a lot of hand-wringing, and a lot of patting themselves on the back (cue the trumpets), congress gave us their "best effort". That best effort was described by some of them as: "A Satan Sandwich with Satan Fries". Sounds like something that only immoral people would gladly support. Not only was the end product a really bad one, but they also with one swipe of the pen rewrote part of the constitution to set up a panel of 12 people who would decide in the future exactly how this bill was to be implemented! Forget about those pesky constituents, let's just have 12 people appointed by the two parties decide what is best!

This is my call to all citizens to tell congress what we think of their actions by:
1. Calling and telling them that if they voted for this bill, then they will be unemployed in November of 2012.
2. They must IMMEDIATELY begin to work to repeal this nauseating piece of legislation.
3. They must IMMEDIATELY begin to write a real budget that cuts government spending by 10% THIS YEAR!!
4. They must come home and explain to their constituents what they did to oppose this legislation, or explain how their moral cowardice justifies their showing their face in their home district ever again.
